Esta mañana se reunió el Pleno del Consejo de Participación Ciudadana Transitorio(CPCCS-T), en su sesión ordinaria No. 011 que tuvo como único punto en el orden del día la Audiencia Pública para presentación de Alegatos de defensa de los vocales del Consejo de la Judicatura en relación al informe técnico de investigación de evaluación .

Es así que el primero en pasar al estrado fue Gustavo Jalkh, quien preside el CJ , quien en una intervención de 30 minutos respondió al informe repitiendo en varias ocasiones “prefiero pensar que los consejeros no leyeron el informe por las fallas jurídicas como técnicas y de redacción” además de insinuar que dicho documento es un análisis parcializado que se encuentra basado en elucubraciones porque ”algún interés está queriendo desestabilizar a la corte nacional de justicia”.

Mientras la Dra. Ana Karina Peralta, vocal del CJ iniciaba su intervención esta se vio interrumpida por un momento tenso cuando Julio Cesar Trujillo, presidente del CPCCS-T invitó a Gustavo Jalkh a ocupar el asiento asignado, ante lo cual el titular del Consejo de la Judicatura se negó y posteriormente junto a los demás vocales abandonaron la sala.

Por su parte Trujillo procedió a notificar al secretario que se haga constar en el acta “el Dr. Jalkh se negó a obedecer las órdenes de esta presidencia y que en solidaridad con él y en un acto de rebeldía contra el Consejo, los demás vocales han abandonado la sesión y por consiguiente han desistido de su derecho a defenderse verbalmente en esta audiencia que fue convocada para ese efecto” y procedió a levantar la sesión.

Posteriormente, en una rueda de prensa el pleno del CPCCS-T convocó para el día lunes 04 de junio a las 10:00, en el Teatro Universitaro en Quito para desarrollar una sesión para discutir, aprobar y leer la resolución final de la Evaluación de Autoridades del Consejo de la Judicatura del Ecuador.
