Silvia Quilumbango de Intag comenta que el 70% de ese territorio ha sido sometido a la exploración avanzada por parte de las mineras Enami y Codelco han ocasionado la contaminación de cascadas, la tala indiscriminada de bosques y el impedimento de realizar turismo comunitario en los sectores concesionados.
