Paúl Jácome uno de los “Tres de Cotopaxi”, como se conoce a los tres presos políticos, (Xavier Cajilema, Edwin Lasluisa), quienes cumplieron un año de prisión por el caso 30S; dio a conocer a este medio de comunicación que recibieron la Carta de Admisibilidad por parte de la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos sobre la solicitud de Demanda Internacional al Estado ecuatoriano, por la violación a los Derechos Humanos en el Gobierno de Rafael Correa, en dicha comunicación se le otorga al Estado un plazo de tres meses para que presente sus observaciones sobre el caso.

Además señaló que junto con la Dr. Daniela Salazar y la “Clínica Jurídica” de la Universidad San Francisco de Quito y sus abogados seguirán alimentando de información al organismo de Derechos Humanos, con el objetivo de sentar un precedente en el Ecuador, para que las organizaciones sociales y las libertades individuales no vuelvan a ser vulneradas.
